In a competitive environment where performance is key, nothing can be left to chance.
As your reliability depends on our products, quality has always been integrated into our approach. As both a philosophy and a spirit, it has been a guiding principle, taking into account all the product’s aspects including marketing, client specifications and technical support offered by our different service centers.
Created and manufactured in the heart of Europe, our products conform to CE directives. In response to our clients’ needs, our organization is ISO 9001 certified. We have received international recognition for our Total Quality. We maintain extremely strict criteria during design: simultaneous engineering, team based work, best practices, project review, workgroup creation, and severe qualification processes.
Our suppliers are fully associated to our quality standards: they are held to quality assurance agreements that range from qualification of their manufacturing process to individual checking of each finished product.
Products that respect our planet:
Vacuum is, by nature, “clean”. However, as with all industrial activities, vacuum technology can bring some risk to the environment during the production of components and their subsequent use on-site. We have been focusing on this issue from the beginning.
As part of a multi-billion dollar international group, Alcatel Vacuum Technology participates in a global strategy established in 1991 to evaluate the pollution risks and take specific measures to reduce those risks, both internally and externally. Understanding and anticipating our customers’ sophisticated processes are the keys to effective action. The successful combination of environment protection and enabling industry to save both time and money, is a two fold achievement.
The Quality Assurance department is the heart of Alcatel Vacuum Technology continuous improvement process, working closely with purchasing, manufacturing and our subsidiaries. It coordinates, defines and supervises the highest standards of quality. Each year, the department is responsible for setting up even higher standards, to offer you the security of “active” and “pro-active” quality.
The ISO 14001 program is oriented along three axes:
- Product design
- Manufacturing and service processes
- Customer training and support
Reduction goals:
- Water and energy consumption
- Pollution and industrial waste
- Noise and vibration pollution
Challenges stated, goals reached:
This willingness to be ahead of the times has allowed us to create the first “green” products on the market, with a range of dry pumps that offer:
- The lowest energy consumption
- The lowest water consumption for cooling
- Low maintenance costs, and therefore low cost-of-ownership
Endowed with a state of the art production site:
- Water treatment and recycling using distillation equipment
- Treatment of cleaning agents using a special evaporation process
With every advance we make, we bring our customers the fruit of our research for the preservation of the environment.
